What is Nouns Squad Blast?

Nouns Squad Blast is a team hero shooter made for kids. Two squads of Nouns, Blue and Orange, splat each other with cartoon blasters in six arenas built from Nouns City: Noggle Square downtown, Funland Pier, Camp Noggle in Prospect Woods, the snowy Noggle Alps, the City Rooftops and Noggle Beach.

Pick one of 31 heroes. Tanks like Box, Whale and Ramen soak up hits behind walls and bubbles, Blasters like Pickle, Baseball and Hedgehog do the splatting, Snipers like Raven, Pencil Tip and Camcorder tag rivals from far away, Splashers like Boombox, Jupiter and Shower hit whole groups at once, Scouts like Fox, Kangaroo and Taxi double jump round the side, and Helpers like Muffin, Kitty and Cloud heal team-mates. Every hero has a blaster, an ability, a way to move and a Noggle Ult that charges as you play.

There is no blood or gore. A tagged-out Noun bursts into its voxels, like a knockout in Nouns Brawl, and rebuilds at its base a few seconds later.

31 heroes, 6 roles

Tanks protect, Blasters splat, Snipers pick rivals off from afar, Splashers hit groups, Scouts flank and Helpers heal. Every Ult is different: a black hole, a bass drop, an air strike, a rewind, a bubble bath, a mega meatball and more.

Cute blasters

Toy rifles, shotguns, a bubble gatling, a rainbow sniper, splash rockets and sprinkle healers.

Five modes

Push the Snack Cart, hold the Picnic Blanket, Tag Team, Grab the Noggles (capture the flag) and Surprise Party (plant the Party Popper).

Fifteen arenas

Built from Nouns City and Nouns Park: a downtown square, a seaside pier, a forest camp, a ski lodge, city rooftops, a sunny beach, rolling hills, red-rock terraces, a skate park, a toy castle, a warehouse in a fenced yard, a sandstone desert town, an old village with a wine cellar, a Wild West town with a saloon and a steam train, and a temple garden with a pagoda and a koi pond.

Move like a pro

Sprint, crouch, slide, double-tap to dodge, jump, and bonk rivals up close.

AI squads

Bots that push objectives, heal friends and use their Ults, on easy, normal or hard.

No blood

Tagged Nouns burst into colourful voxels and rebuild a few seconds later.

Squad Shop

Earn Noggle Coins every match and spend them on gadgets (Splash Grenade, Flash Popper, Smoke Puff, Jump Pad) and upgrades for every hero.

Phone ready

Touch sticks and big buttons, aim help, auto-blast and a sideways view on phones held upright.

How to play

Press Play, then pick a mode, an arena and your hero.
Choose how tough the AI squads are, and 3 v 3, 4 v 4 or 5 v 5.
Move with WASD (or the left thumb) and aim with the mouse (or drag on the right).
Blast rivals, use E, Shift and your Noggle Ult on Q, and play the objective.
Win the match to be crowned Squad Star.

Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no ads and no sign-up. The Noggle Coins for the Squad Shop are earned by playing, never bought with real money.

Is it OK for kids?

It is made for kids: blasters are cartoon toys, there is no blood, and tagged-out Nouns just burst into voxels. There is no chat with strangers.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Press With Friends, make a room and share the 5-letter code. Up to 5 friends can play together against AI Nouns, or split into two squads, and AI Nouns fill any empty spots. There is no chat.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. It has touch controls with aim help and auto-blast, and turns sideways if you hold your phone upright.
