What is Nouns Puzzle Match?
Nouns Puzzle Match is a match-3 puzzle game. Swap two neighbouring gems to make a row of three or more of the same kind; they pop, the gems above fall into the gaps and new ones drop in, which can set off chain reactions. Every level gives you a set number of moves to reach its goals: a score, a number of gems of one kind, clearing every ice tile, smashing every crate, popping all the Grump Goo, or beating a boss.
Bigger matches make special gems. Four in a row makes a laser that clears its row or column, an L or T shape makes a Boom Box that blasts twice, and five in a row makes Rainbow Noggles, which clears every gem of one kind. Swap two specials together for something bigger still, like a cross of lasers or a whole board wiped clean.
The 50 levels are spread over 8 worlds, and each world has its own Noun narrator, colours, running joke and mystery: the sprinkles stolen from Snack Street, the socks that vanished from Splash Bay, the gnome strike in Sunny Grove, and more. Each world ends in a boss fight against a Noun that the Grump King has grumped. Every gem you clear hurts the boss, it throws blockers back every few moves, and when you win it pops its purple noggles and goes back to being itself.
Animated 3D Nouns keep you company: the world narrator and a guest Noun stand beside the board, cheer your combos, groan at a bad swap and get nervous when moves run low. Every level also has a bonus mission, like making two Boom Boxes or winning with three moves to spare, and up to three stars to earn.

Eight story worlds
Snack Street, Splash Bay, Sunny Grove, Rainbow Rave, Frosty Peaks, Bug Jungle, Sleepy Town and Grump Castle, each with its own narrator, look, jokes and story scenes.
Grumped bosses
Every world ends in a boss with a health bar who throws ice, crates, cages, goo or countdown gems at you. Beat them to un-grump them.
Special gems and combos
Lasers, Boom Boxes and Rainbow Noggles, and big combos when two specials meet. Leftover moves turn into a Noggle Party of lasers at the end.
Five kinds of blocker
Ice to crack, cages to snap, crates to smash, Grump Goo that spreads if you leave it, and countdown gems you must match before they go off.
Missions and stars
A bonus mission on every level and up to three stars, tracked on the map for every world.
Noun companions
Live 3D Nouns beside the board react to every move with a pose and a quip.
Easy to read
