What is Nouns City?
Nouns City is a free open-world game you play right in your browser. It is a living, New York–style city where every one of the 100 Nouns has a job, a home, friends, rivals and a daily routine. They wake up, commute, work their shifts, grab lunch, visit friends and head home, whether you are watching or not.
You arrive by ferry as a newcomer, a cousin of a Noun who already lives in town. From there the city is yours: meet the neighbours, help them with favours, take on odd jobs, ride the subway, borrow a car, go fishing at the pier or just sit on a bench and people-watch. There is no combat and nothing to fail. Timers only ever pay a bonus.
Everything that happens in town ends up in the Noggle Times, the city paper. Each morning it reports yesterday’s arguments, lunch dates, late arrivals and scoops, including the things you did.

Features
100 residents with real routines
Every Noun has a job, a shift, a home and needs like hunger, fun, sleep and company. They chat, argue, hug, make friends and sometimes run late for work.
21 neighbourhoods to discover
From Wallet Street and Neon Alley to Chinatown, Little Italy and Koreatown, out to Noggle Beach, Prospect Woods, the airport and the islands. A banner pops up each time you find a new one.
Subway, ferries, bikes and cars
Ride the Noggle Line subway, hop on the Harbor Ferry to the islands, rent a Noggle Bike, or borrow almost any car on the road and flick through nine radio stations. There is even a helicopter at the Downtown Heliport.
Jobs that pay coins
Go fishing, beachcomb, deliver pizza, busk in the square, pull barista shifts at Sunrise Coffee, load crates at the Riverside docks or chase high scores at the arcade.
Missions, gigs and collections
Follow 11 story missions from Welcome to Nouns City to The Key to the City, help the Mayor with the Nouns City Festival, pick up gigs from the job board and work through seven collections as you climb ten reputation levels, from Newcomer to Legend of Nouns City.
The Noggle Times
A newspaper written from what really happened in the simulation: the day’s top stories, the weather forecast, the numbers and who in town needs a hand.
Day, night and weather
A full day lasts about 48 minutes. Expect sunshine, clouds, rain, fog and the odd thunderstorm, and fireworks light up the harbour every night at 21:00.
Three ways to look
Switch any time between a third person camera, an isometric view that rotates in 90° steps and first person with mouse look.
