What is Nouns Cooking?

Nouns Cooking is a free recipe app hosted by Noun chefs. It has 3,499 recipes from 20 world cuisines and five special kitchens: Plant-Based, Bakery, Dessert Parlour, Soup Pot and the Drinks Bar.

Recipes are written in plain steps in our own words, with quantities checked against named reference sites such as BBC Good Food, RecipeTin Eats and Just One Cookbook. Scale the servings, switch between metric and imperial, then press Cook it! for big step-by-step cards, tap-to-start timers and read-aloud, with the screen kept awake.

Not sure what to make? Tell the Fridge finder what you have, spin the Dinner wheel or let Plan my week build a menu for your diet. Everything goes onto one shopping list sorted by aisle. Cook a dish to stamp its kitchen in your Food Passport.
