Panaché
The café-terrace summer thirst-quencher: cold lager topped up with fizzy lemonade for a light, low-alcohol sip.
Contains alcohol. For adults of legal drinking age; please drink responsibly.
Ingredients
- 150 ml cold lager
- 150 ml Clear sparkling lemonade, well chilled
- 1 slice Lemon (optional)
Method
- Tilt a chilled glass and pour in the lager slowly so it does not foam over.
- Top up with the lemonade, add a lemon slice if you like and drink straight away while it is fizzy.
Tips
- Add a dash of grenadine and you have a Monaco; a dash of mint syrup makes a Perroquet-style twist.
- Use alcohol-free beer for a version anyone can enjoy.
