Ingredients

Method

  1. Halve the melon, scoop out the seeds and cut away the skin. Chop the flesh into chunks.
  2. Blend the melon with 500 ml of the water and the sugar until completely smooth.
  3. Pour into a large jug through a sieve if you like it smooth, or leave the pulp in for a more rustic drink. Stir in the rest of the water and the lime juice.
  4. Taste and add more sugar if the melon isn’t very sweet. Chill and serve over plenty of ice, stirring before pouring.
