Ingredients

• 60 ml Alcohol-free bitter aperitif (Italian red aperitivo style)
• 90 ml alcohol-free sparkling wine, well chilled
• 30 ml soda water
• 1 slice thick orange slice
• Ice

Method

1. Fill a large wine glass with ice.
2. Pour in the alcohol-free sparkling wine first, then the bitter aperitif, so they mix as they go in.
3. Top with the soda water, give one gentle stir and tuck the orange slice into the glass.

Tips

• Check the labels: many alcohol-free wines and aperitifs contain up to 0.5% alcohol, so pick 0.0% bottles if you must avoid it completely.
• No alcohol-free fizz? Sparkling white grape juice works but is sweeter, so add a squeeze of lemon.
