Ingredients

Method

  1. Line an 18–20 cm square tin with baking paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate, butter and golden syrup together in a heatproof bowl over a pan of barely simmering water, or gently in a pan, stirring until smooth. Let it cool for 5 min so it does not melt the marshmallows.
  3. Put the biscuit chunks, marshmallows, dried fruit and nuts in a big bowl, pour over the chocolate and stir until everything is coated.
  4. Tip into the tin and press down roughly; the top should stay knobbly.
  5. Chill for at least 2 hours, until firm. Dust with icing sugar and cut into chunky squares.
